Wrestling during finals!

This week on Thursday we have a conference dual against Whitewater, it is also Michael Helms' birthday! If we win we take conference in duals but we still have to win the tournament on February 4th. It'll be a night of a lifetime. So come support us in Whitewater!

Wrestling at Lodi on January 7th

There was a tournament at the Lodi High School. It was one of the toughest ones we have wrestled yet. We went 2-3 as a team. We should have done better, the coaches were dissapointed and we weren't too thrilled either. So this week we have to push ourselves more and get ready for the rest of the season. Tomorrow we wrestle Jefferson in our gym so come and support!

Holiday Tournament

There was a tournament in the Evansville High School gym. There were six teams including us. We went 5-0 as a team and we had three people go undefeated on the day. I went 4-1 with two pins, a technical fall ( that means I beat a kid by fifteen points.) The score was 19-4 and I lost my last match 4-7. It was our best tournament so far this year.

Christmas Break is coming up!

There wasn't any wrestling this weekend. Tomorrow the team goes to Edgerton, we will win even though they have a pretty good team. They beat Janesville Parker in a tournament. Next Thursday is our Holiday Tournament in our gym, it should be a fun tournament. Wish us luck!

Raider Invite

Saturday was a rough one. We currently have 4 guys sitting out. Jake Carpenter, Rob Crull, Alex Yoeger and I. Jake, Rob and Alex have a concussion. I don't know what's wrong with me yet but I was knocked out in my 3rd match of the day and still pinned the kid, I had to wrestle up 10 pounds. It was a rough day for everyone besides Alex Lange, Nick Lehman and Ben Reed. Alex and Ben took first and Nick took 3rd. There were a lot of great matches! This Thursday we wrestle East Troy, here at our gym. It'll be an exciting night.

Wrestling the past couple days...

Saturday December 3rd the varsity wrestlers went to Watertown for a wrestling tournament, we placed 6th out of 15th overall. The JV wrestlers went to Janesville Parker and did pretty well there. Today we wrestle Milton. They are Division 1 a  really great wrestling team (the best we will wrestle so far this year) it'll be a tough night but I'm sure we will make it a really good fight for them. We need all the support we can get, wish us luck!

Thanksgiving break

This break was a long one, but not long enough for me. Thanksgiving dinner was fun. My family and I played Catch Phrase at my grandma's, then I went black friday shopping and got a new coat! How was all of your thanksgiving's? How was shopping and what did you get?
